GCLS has a drug and alcohol policy. This policy is pursuant to House Bill No. 84 of 1994. All applicants for employment must pass a pre-employment drug test. A laboratory of our choice conducts these tests. Additionally, GCLS conducts random drug tests. Failure to successfully complete/pass a drug and alcohol test shall result in withdrawal of conditional employment offer or immediate termination.
DOT 49 CFR 382.405 requires all employers of commercial drivers to participate in the drug and alcohol program. All applicants tentatively selected for this position will be required to submit to screening for alcohol and controlled substances testing prior to appointment. All commercial driver applicants must also complete the following forms. DOT Driver Release Waiver and Driver Application Addendum.
